Web 2.0 Goals

What do you hope to get out of a class about what is known as "Web 2.0"?
Although this topic was touched upon in ED 693 Emerging Internet Technologies, I am eager to find out:

• what changes have occurred since that time, and what direction Web 2.0 is going.
  
• to learn how I can incorporate Web 2.0 in my future classroom to grasp, get, and keep my students attention.
  
• and how can Web 2.0 be utilized in science education and which free Web 2.0 tools/apps are available to my future students and myself?
